Jamila Bell

Hey there! I am a mother of a beautiful little boy, who looks just like me! I delivered him on April 3, 2021, at Northside Hospital in Atlanta Georgia. It was through my personal pregnancy and birthing experience that I discovered my passion for helping others through that process. Pregnancy & labor intrigue me, and I am constantly learning as much as I can to be a better doula and advocate for my clients. I am currently awaiting my certification as a Labor Doula from MaternityWise. I want to do what I can to help the maternal death rate of Black women drop. As a Black woman, I have experienced the disparities within healthcare, and I relate to my clients in a way that can not be replicated, it can only be understood through a shared lens. It is important that I note, my goal is to be as inclusive as possible within my language & care. I am seeking to work with all Black laboring people of all socioeconomic backgrounds, gender identities, and sexual orientations.
